Teaching Assistant – Advanced Qualitative Research (Winter 2026)

About the role

We are seeking a Teaching Assistant for the course “Advanced Qualitative Research: Philosophical and Theoretical Foundations” (HSED 704) for the Winter 2026 term at McGill University. Key responsibilities

• Locate and set up course materials on the My Courses platform.
• Attend and assist during class lectures held on Wednesdays.
• Monitor online postings and chats, responding to student questions.
• Prepare and organize classroom materials and technology.
• Provide email and office‑hour consultation to students.
• Screen and review course‑related materials as requested by the professor.
• Submit grades on My Courses.

Required profile

• Current doctoral student at McGill University.
• Advanced graduate study in qualitative research.
• Strong overall academic performance.
• Registered in a graduate program at McGill.
• Interest in health professions education or related health and social science fields.
