Service Desk Specialist – IT Support (Montreal)

About the role

The Service Desk Specialist provides front‑line and second‑level IT support to users across Canada for the Canadian Cancer Society. Based in Montreal, you will join a national IT team that resolves incidents, fulfills service requests, and ensures technology runs smoothly for the organization’s mission.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the single point of contact for all IT‑related incidents and service requests.
• Create, update, and manage tickets in the ticket‑management system, ensuring timely resolution and accurate documentation.
• Diagnose, repair, maintain, and upgrade desktop computers, printers, copiers, telephony equipment, and LAN devices.
• Provide on‑call support on a rotating schedule as needed.
• Collaborate with the Digital Strategy & Technology team to improve service delivery and support digital transformation initiatives.

Required profile

• Strong customer‑service orientation with the ability to communicate technical information clearly.
• Experience working in a multi‑location, national IT support environment.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team during business hours and on‑call rotations.
