SEO/AIO Strategist

About the role

We are seeking a dynamic SEO/AIO Strategist to lead the planning, execution and optimisation of SEO and AI‑Engine Optimisation (AEO) initiatives for our clients. Working closely with the Head of Organic Media and client teams, you will shape strategy, drive technical improvements and deliver measurable organic growth.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and QA SEO/AEO strategies tailored to each client’s goals, industry and competitive landscape.
• Create and maintain roadmaps with clear KPIs, milestones and deliverables.
• Conduct technical SEO/AEO audits and implement solutions for site architecture, crawlability, indexation, speed, Core Web Vitals and mobile performance.
• Manage schema markup, XML sitemaps, robots.txt, canonical tags and redirect strategies.
• Collaborate with development teams to embed SEO best practices into website builds and updates.
• Guide content strategy using keyword research, search intent analysis and competitive gap assessment.
• Optimise on‑page elements, develop content briefs and optimisation guidelines.
• Implement AI Engine Optimisation for platforms such as ChatGPT, Perplexity, Claude and Google AI Overviews, including featured snippets, voice search and FAQ schemas.
• Track and analyse organic performance, produce regular reports with actionable insights and maintain conversion tracking.
• Serve as the primary client contact, gather requirements, present progress and translate needs into development plans.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading SEO and AEO strategy for multiple clients.
• Strong analytical mindset with ability to translate data into actionable recommendations.
• Excellent communication skills for client interaction and cross‑functional collaboration.
• Self‑motivated, creative and comfortable working in a fast‑paced, growth‑focused environment.
