Senior Project Manager – 12‑Month Contract

About the role

Empire Life is seeking a Senior Project Manager on a 12‑month contract to lead and deliver business transformation initiatives. You will manage projects from initiation through close‑out, working with senior leadership and cross‑functional teams in a hybrid environment.

Key responsibilities

• Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
• Develop detailed project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource allocations.
• Coordinate with IT and other business units to secure resources and assign tasks.
• Provide direction, coaching, and support to the project team.
• Monitor progress, track expenses, and report status to stakeholders regularly.
• Identify and manage project risks, dependencies, and critical paths.
• Apply project management methodology and change‑control processes.
• Conduct post‑implementation reviews to capture lessons learned.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of progressive experience leading large, complex business transformation or IT projects.
• Proven ability to work with minimal supervision and influence senior stakeholders.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving capabilities.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
