Senior Android/iOS Mobile Developer (Backbase)

About the role

Aequilibrium is seeking a Senior Android and/or iOS Mobile Developer to join its fully remote, agile team. You will work on multiple client projects, primarily integrating and customizing the Backbase digital banking platform for credit unions and other financial institutions.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with designers, product managers and client stakeholders to deliver high‑quality mobile experiences.
• Integrate, extend and customize the Backbase platform for financial‑services clients.
• Develop and maintain native Android and iOS applications, ensuring they are released to Google Play and the Apple App Store.
• Build reusable libraries and components following clean‑architecture patterns such as MVVM.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines using Bitrise or Jenkins and automate testing and deployment.

Required profile

• 5+ years of professional Android or iOS development experience.
• 3+ years of Angular development experience.
• Experience in a consultative, client‑facing role within financial or professional services.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment.
