Security Internship – Fall 2026

About the role

Join the Desjardins Group Security Office for a fall 2026 internship where you will support a variety of security initiatives across cyber, physical, legal and business domains. You will work alongside experienced professionals, contribute to real projects, and develop hands‑on skills in a collaborative environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with operational and project cybersecurity tasks, including risk analysis, vulnerability assessment and threat monitoring.
• Support security governance activities by applying control frameworks and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Participate in physical security audits, draft governance documents and evaluate continuity plans.
• Create visual business intelligence reports, dashboards and performance indicators for internal partners.
• Conduct legal research on cybersecurity laws, review security clauses in contracts and advise business units on data protection.
• Help with investigations by analysing information, writing reports and supporting complex case work.
• Develop communications materials to raise awareness of security standards.

Required profile

• Current university student pursuing a degree in IT, cybersecurity, law, business, engineering or a related field.
• Strong analytical mindset and interest in security topics.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
