Securitization Administration Manager (Contract)

About the role

Join EQ Bank’s fast‑growing securitization team as the Manager of Securitization Administration. You will be responsible for the accurate accounting, reporting and financial analysis of the bank’s securitization programs, supporting both Equitable Bank and Equitable Trust.

Key responsibilities

• Execute new securitization issuances, oversee daily cash tracking, and manage the accounting for NHA MBS and Covered Bonds.
• Prepare monthly investor reports, variance analysis, and quarterly financial statement disclosures.
• Support compliance with securitization regulations and coordinate with internal stakeholders such as Accounting, Capital Markets, Treasury and external partners like CMHC and auditors.
• Identify process‑improvement opportunities, implement changes and train team members.

Required profile

• Post‑secondary education and CPA designation.
• Minimum 5 years of accounting/financial reporting experience in a financial institution, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
• Strong analytical abilities, attention to detail and proven leadership skills.
• Experience with mortgage‑backed securities (NHA MBS, Covered Bonds) and data‑management systems is an asset.

Required skills

• Advanced Microsoft Excel, Access and Word.
• Proficiency with accounting systems and cash‑flow modeling.
