SAP Finance Lead

About the role

We are looking for an experienced SAP Finance Lead to join our Advanced Technology Centers in Montreal. The role focuses on supporting core finance functions through metrics, reporting, and analytics while driving process improvements across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Provide metrics and reporting to support core finance functions.
• Coordinate and support financial analytics, reporting, and operational processes.
• Collaborate with multiple teams to streamline processes and enhance efficiency.
• Analyze financial data to identify trends, risks, and insights that support decision‑making.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive reporting tools to increase financial visibility.
• Offer solutions to challenges impacting both immediate and cross‑functional teams.
• Provide training and support to team members on financial reporting tools and methods.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to advance finance function maturity.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of experience leading and supporting SAP S/4HANA Finance (FICO) implementations, including greenfield deployments and system conversions.
• Proven ability to run design workshops with business stakeholders and define future‑state finance processes.
• Strong knowledge of core finance processes (GL, Asset, Controlling, AR, AP, Bank Management).
• Experience managing financial data migration from legacy systems to SAP, including mapping, cleansing and validation.
• Ability to integrate SAP with upstream Procure‑to‑Pay and Order‑to‑Cash systems.
• Excellent English communication skills for interaction with global stakeholders.
