Sales Engineer – Inspection & Test Equipment

About the role

Marposs Group is seeking a Sales Engineer to drive sales of its mechanical, electromechanical and electrical inspection and test equipment across the Quebec region. Reporting to the VP of Sales & Marketing, you will manage key accounts among major manufacturers and distributors, promoting cutting‑edge solutions for quality and process control.

Key responsibilities

• Sell mechanical, electromechanical and electrical inspection and test equipment, leveraging engineering and manufacturing process knowledge.
• Engage with engineers, technical personnel and management to demonstrate product value and feasibility.
• Provide technical advice on product modifications, applications, design and related challenges.
• Prepare sales reports, forecast data, and analyse competition and market conditions.
• Gather survey information on products, competitors and specific topics.
• Execute special promotions for targeted products.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (preferred).
• 5‑7 years of sales experience in the manufacturing industry.
• Gauging experience is a strong advantage.
• Excellent interpersonal, presentation and communication skills.
• Willingness to travel extensively with a clean driving record.
