Remote Lawyer – Contract (10-40 hrs/week)

About the role

We are seeking experienced lawyers to support AI training initiatives by reviewing and annotating legal documents. This remote, contract‑based role offers flexible hours ranging from 10 to 40 per week.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze, review, and annotate a wide variety of legal documents for AI training purposes.
• Validate legal content for accuracy, consistency, and jurisdictional compliance.
• Identify nuances in legal language, drafting styles, and substantive issues across multiple specialties.
• Collaborate with a diverse team of legal experts to improve data quality.
• Produce clear written explanations, rationales, and clarifications on complex legal topics.
• Provide domain‑specific insights to guide AI legal tool development.

Required profile

• Juris Doctor (JD), LLB, or equivalent law degree from an accredited institution.
• Proven expertise in one or more legal domains such as corporate, intellectual property, litigation, contract, or regulatory law.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, capable of explaining legal concepts clearly.
• Track record of high‑quality legal analysis and drafting.
• Strong analytical abilities and meticulous attention to detail.
