Relationship Manager – Employer Engagement & Communications

About the role

The Canadian Business Disability Inclusion Network (CBDIN) is seeking a Relationship Manager to lead employer outreach, build lasting partnerships, and drive communications for a national research initiative on workplace accessibility and accommodation.

Key responsibilities

• Recruit employers to join the research initiative and manage a pipeline of potential partners.
• Maintain accurate records of outreach, engagement, and partnership opportunities using CRM systems.
• Coordinate meetings, follow‑ups, and touchpoints with senior employer stakeholders.
• Facilitate employer participation in surveys, interviews, and webinars to ensure strong response rates.
• Lead all communications to employers and broader audiences, translating research findings into clear, practical content.
• Develop digital communication assets such as social media posts, infographics, and concise updates.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience in sales, relationship management, stakeholder engagement, or communications.
• Proven ability to build trusted relationships with senior contacts.
• Experience managing outreach campaigns and tracking engagement in a CRM.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CRM systems for stakeholder tracking.
• Strong command of the Microsoft Office suite.

What we offer

• 12‑15 month contract with potential transition to a permanent role.
• Salary range $65,000‑$80,000 CAD per year.
