Project Manager (Electrical EPC)

About the role

ABB is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead medium‑size electrical EPC projects within its Metals and Power Conversion business line. The role is hybrid, offering a blend of on‑site and remote work while supporting the delivery of leaner, cleaner industrial solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the project team, define execution approach, and oversee planning, monitoring, and control of internal and external resources.
• Ensure project activities comply with procedures, regulations, standards, specifications, and targets.
• Monitor project progress, resource utilization, and financial performance.
• Identify, qualify, quantify, and manage project risks while pursuing opportunities.
• Drive formal project acceptance, contract close‑out, and customer acknowledgment in line with contractual obligations.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of project management experience in electrical applications.
• Proven expertise managing EPC contracts within the electrical industry.
• Degree in Engineering (Electrical or Mechanical preferred) and PMP certification.
• Fluent in English and French.
• Willingness to travel to customer sites in the US and Canada (~10% of the time).
