Project Coordinator

About the role

As a Project Coordinator you will support overall project performance by assisting with cost control, scheduling, documentation, and project reporting. Reporting to the Project Manager, you will ensure project information is accurate, timely, and aligned with contractual and operational requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Manage project submittals, RFIs, and related documentation to ensure compliance with specifications and contracts.
• Log and distribute RFQs, prepare change orders, and maintain pricing logs and cost‑tracking reports.
• Develop and maintain procurement and submission schedules, monitor project timelines, and communicate updates to stakeholders.
• Interpret prime contracts, subcontract agreements, drawings and specifications, and assist in identifying contractual risks.
• Coordinate and schedule project meetings, prepare agendas and minutes, and follow up on action items.

Required profile

• Post‑secondary degree or diploma in Construction Management, Engineering or a related field.
• Experience in a coordination or project support role within a mid‑to‑large general contracting environment.
• Familiarity with construction project workflows, documentation and contract administration processes.
• Valid driver’s licence and access to a reliable vehicle preferred.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Procore or similar construction‑management software.
• Strong working knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
