Project Associate – Engineering Consulting

About the role

As a Project Associate at Sense Engineering, you will support delivery of engineering services across restoration, capital planning, and building systems, gaining hands‑on experience throughout project phases while representing the firm professionally.

Key responsibilities

• Exhibit a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and team spirit while taking ownership of tasks.
• Represent Sense Engineering professionally with clients, contractors, and consultants.
• Design and analyze structures or building components for new construction, renovation and restoration projects.
• Perform building evaluations, site reviews, and investigations.
• Prepare project proposals, detailed engineering drawings, reports and specifications.
• Coordinate with clients, contractors, and consultants to ensure clear communication and timely project delivery.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Architectural, Structural Engineering or a related field.
• Previous co‑op or internship experience in engineering consulting.
• Eligibility for registration with Engineers and Geoscientists British Columbia (EGBC).
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

What we offer

• Base salary range $65,000 to $85,000 (commensurate with experience).
• Profit‑sharing bonuses, increasing total compensation to $70,000‑$90,000.
