Project Associate – Building Restoration & Structural Engineering

About the role

As a Project Associate / Engineer‑in‑Training, you will play a key role in delivering outstanding service and solutions to clients. You will be immersed in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment and gain hands‑on experience across multiple project phases while representing Sense Engineering with professionalism.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in building evaluations, structural assessments, site reviews, and investigations.
• Support project coordination and contribute to successful project delivery.
• Liaise with clients, contractors, and consultants to ensure seamless communication.
• Prepare evaluation reports, construction documents, and project proposals.
• Represent Sense at client meetings and networking functions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Structural Engineering, Building Science, Restoration Engineering, Architectural Engineering or a related field.
• Co‑op or internship experience in engineering consulting is a strong asset.
• Registered with or eligible for registration with a provincial engineering association.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Good working knowledge of MS Office tools (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a client‑centric mindset.
• Team player eager to learn, contribute, and grow.
• Valid driver’s licence and reliable transportation.
