Procurement Manager

About the role

Source Energy Services is looking for a Procurement Manager to lead the design and execution of its Canada‑wide procurement strategy. Based in Calgary, you will support Canadian operations by sourcing goods and services, managing supplier relationships and ensuring contract compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and enforce procurement policies, governance and best practices across multiple divisions.
• Execute procurement strategies in partnership with operations, defining standards and KPIs.
• Manage end‑to‑end procurement of goods and services, aligning cost, quality and service expectations while driving cost‑reduction initiatives.
• Oversee contract implementation and ensure compliance with corporate policies and regulatory requirements.
• Lead supplier sourcing, negotiation, qualification and onboarding, including RFPs, bids and contract reviews.
• Monitor supplier performance, conduct regular evaluations and drive continuous improvement.
• Balance Just‑In‑Time and safety‑stock requirements to support operational reliability.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align procurement activities with business priorities.
• Identify spend‑optimization opportunities and report performance using established KPIs.

Required profile

• Proven hands‑on experience in procurement, supplier management and contract execution.
• Ability to build and influence relationships across functions and divisions.
• Continuous‑improvement mindset with a focus on process optimisation.
• Strong analytical skills to evaluate spend, risk and performance metrics.
