About the role

The Grande Prairie Public School Division is seeking qualified educators for probationary full‑time positions teaching Kindergarten through Grade 3 for the 2026‑2027 school year. Positions are available across various schools within the division.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver curriculum-aligned instruction to students in Kindergarten to Grade 3.
• Assess student learning, provide feedback, and maintain accurate records.
• Create a safe, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment.
• Collaborate with fellow teachers, support staff, and administrators.
• Comply with all district policies, including safety and reporting requirements.

Required profile

• Valid Alberta Teaching Certificate (or eligibility to obtain one).
• Bachelor’s degree in Education.
• Clear Police Information Check with Vulnerable Sector and Child Intervention Record checks.
