Part-time Business Course Instructor (Fall 2026/Winter 2027)

About the role

Nipissing University is seeking qualified part‑time instructors to teach Business courses for the Fall 2026 and Winter 2027 semesters. The position involves delivering course content, assessing student work, and supporting learners both in‑person and through online delivery modes.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver lectures, tutorials and labs for assigned Business courses.
• Design, administer and grade assessments in accordance with university standards.
• Provide timely feedback and be available for student consultations outside scheduled class time.
• Complete mandatory university training and adhere to all Nipissing policies and procedures.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Business or a related discipline (PhD considered an asset).
• Demonstrated in‑person or online teaching experience; prior experience with Nipissing is a plus.
• Pedagogical or instructor training is an asset.
• For Accounting courses: membership in good standing with CPA Ontario or equivalent.
• For HR courses: HRPA certification (e.g., CHRP, CHRL) is an asset.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel for finance‑related instruction.
