Operations Officer II (Hybrid) – Markham, ON

About the role

We are seeking an Operations Officer II to support a leading financial institution in Markham. The position is a 12‑month fixed‑term role with the possibility of extension, offering a hybrid work arrangement.

Key responsibilities

• Accurately onboard WBB applications onto mainframe and billing systems within SLA.
• Respond promptly to business partner email requests.
• Enter negotiated fees into the billing system and process monthly billing.
• Maintain a positive customer experience and suggest improvements.
• Manage ADHOC billing spreadsheets and reprocess rejected items.
• Execute standard transactions using limited systems and applications.
• Identify routine issues and escalate when necessary.

Required profile

• High school diploma; post‑secondary certifications required.
• 1‑2 years of banking experience, including AML compliance knowledge.
• Strong multitasking ability in a fast‑paced environment.
• Minimum typing speed of 60‑65 wpm.
• At least one year of administrative or operations officer experience.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Problem‑solving and time‑management capabilities.
