Online SAT Math Tutor (Remote)

About the role

Varsity Tutors is seeking experienced SAT Math tutors to join its Live Learning Platform. You will work remotely, providing one‑on‑one or instant tutoring sessions that help students improve their SAT Math scores.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver personalized SAT Math instruction via the platform’s video interface.
• Explain concepts across the full SAT Math curriculum, including algebra, geometry, trigonometry, and data analysis.
• Teach test‑taking strategies, time‑management techniques, and calculator vs. non‑calculator approaches.
• Analyze student performance, create targeted practice drills, and adapt lessons to individual needs.
• Invoice for completed sessions and receive payment twice weekly.

Required profile

• Minimum SAT Math score of 720.
• Proven success helping students raise their math subscores.
• Strong communication skills and an engaging teaching style.
• Ability to work flexible hours and manage on‑demand tutoring requests.

Required skills

• Deep knowledge of SAT Math topics (linear equations, systems, inequalities, quadratic functions, geometry, trigonometry, statistics, etc.).
• Strategic problem‑solving and test‑strategy instruction.
