Network & Systems Support Technician (On‑site, Laval)

About the role

Join a leading private‑healthcare network in Quebec as a Network and Systems Support Technician. Working on‑site in Laval, you will provide first‑ and second‑level technical assistance to clinic staff, ensuring the reliability of servers, firewalls, routers, switches and workstations.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose, log and resolve hardware and software incidents for internal users.
• Install, configure and maintain servers, firewalls, routers and switches.
• Set up, configure and support workstations, printers, scanners and other peripherals.
• Perform network cabling tasks, including Ethernet and RJ45 termination, and test cable integrity.
• Maintain up‑to‑date documentation of configurations, procedures and interventions.
• Collaborate with the IT team on critical incidents and infrastructure improvement projects.

Required profile

• College diploma (DEC) in computer technology, networking or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years experience in technical support, network administration or systems support.
• Strong customer‑service orientation with patience and empathy.
• Ability to analyse incidents quickly and identify root causes.
