Microvellum Programmer/Developer

About the role

Amico Corporation is seeking a Microvellum Programmer/Developer to support the production of custom wood and metal components for its medical equipment manufacturing facilities. The role combines software programming, CAD design, and CNC preparation to ensure seamless communication between design files and manufacturing machines.

Key responsibilities

• Program Microvellum and add custom wood and metal parts to the Microvellum library.
• Create detailed shop drawings for custom casework and furniture.
• Develop and maintain CNC programs based on Microvellum outputs.
• Verify schedules and bills of materials generated by Microvellum.
• Review engineering submittals against project requirements.
• Perform quality control of engineering data and processing packets.
• Train and provide support to other programmers on Microvellum usage.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years experience in a Microvellum programming or development role.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and CNC programming.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Familiarity with typical millwork manufacturing processes.
• Hands‑on experience in woodshop, cabinet assembly, and hardware installation.
• Strong organizational, time‑management, and communication abilities.
