About the role

We are looking for a full‑time day‑shift Fleet and Plant Mechanic to join a leading concrete company in the Laurentides region. The position offers a stable, permanent role that blends heavy‑vehicle maintenance with industrial plant upkeep, allowing you to work in a scenic environment while supporting essential production equipment.

Key responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on concrete mixers, trucks and other diesel‑powered equipment (engines, brakes, pneumatic systems).
• Ensure the mechanical reliability of plant installations such as conveyors, mixers, and weighing systems.
• Diagnose faults, troubleshoot and repair breakdowns to minimise downtime.
• Carry out welding tasks and light fabrication work as required by the workshop.
• Collaborate with the concrete division foreman to plan and execute special projects.

Required profile

• DEP or equivalent training in construction equipment mechanics, heavy‑vehicle mechanics or industrial mechanics.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience, preferably with hydraulic systems.
• Resourceful, autonomous and committed to safety.
• Class 3 driver’s licence is an asset (or willingness to obtain one).
