Material Planner

About the role

We are seeking a Material Planner to manage inventory and procurement for Bosch Rexroth in Welland. The role focuses on ensuring material availability while balancing cost efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Perform strategic analysis of the inventory portfolio and procure materials in a timely, accurate, and cost‑effective manner.
• Identify optimization opportunities and cost‑reduction initiatives through ongoing inventory analysis.
• Order stocked materials based on demand forecasts and current inventory levels.
• Maintain purchase order data, material master, and information records in SAP with high accuracy.
• Expedite deliveries and coordinate logistics with vendors, carriers, brokers, and internal traffic departments.
• Communicate regularly with sales teams and key customers to support demand planning and forecast accuracy.
• Develop and sustain strong vendor relationships to ensure reliable supply.
