Marketing Coordinator

About the role

Shake Shack Canada is seeking a curious, culturally‑savvy storyteller to join a small, ambitious team as a Marketing Coordinator. You will be the voice behind the brand, creating scroll‑stopping content and nurturing an engaged community across our growing footprint.

Key responsibilities

• Concept, shoot, and edit original photo, video, and graphic content for TikTok, Instagram and emerging platforms.
• Capture in‑the‑moment moments at Shacks, events and partner activations, often in real time.
• Build, manage and execute a social media content calendar that balances brand storytelling, trends and tentpole moments.
• Plan and run social media and communications campaigns aligned with broader marketing strategies.
• Monitor platform trends, cultural moments and emerging formats, translating them into on‑brand content ideas.
• Respond to comments, guest queries and hospitality emails promptly and in a brand‑consistent tone.
• Track content performance, feedback and online reviews, using insights to improve future output.
• Support event organization and attendance to boost community engagement and brand awareness.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure brand consistency across all touchpoints.

Required profile

• 2+ years of experience in a fast‑paced, consumer‑focused environment.
• Self‑starter who anticipates needs and thrives in a dynamic setting.
• Creative, proactive and comfortable juggling multiple workstreams.
• Passionate about food, lifestyle and community storytelling.
• Strong eye for detail and ability to translate cultural moments into engaging content.

Required skills

• Proven content creation for social media, preferably in lifestyle, food or consumer brands.
• Photography, video shooting and editing expertise.
• Hands‑on experience with editing tools such as CapCut, Adobe Premiere or Final Cut Pro.
