Maintenance Manager

About the role

Veolia is seeking a Maintenance Manager to lead the maintenance strategy for a large industrial plant. The role involves overseeing a multidisciplinary team that provides 24‑hour mechanical, electrical, instrumentation and controls support, ensuring equipment availability and reliability while aligning with financial objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement maintenance strategies that meet business goals and financial targets.
• Lead a team of skilled maintenance professionals, coordinating 24‑hour plant services.
• Create and manage comprehensive maintenance schedules, including planned outages.
• Drive technical improvements and reliability initiatives across the plant.
• Oversee plant warehousing, spare parts, and tool inventories.
• Implement and manage the CMMS and Asset Management programs.
• Collaborate with Operations, Engineering, EHS and senior management on daily activities and long‑term planning.
• Manage operating and capital budgets, monitoring expenditures for value.
• Lead safety and environmental programs, ensuring compliance and continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading maintenance teams in an industrial environment.
• Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, instrumentation and control systems.
• Ability to develop and manage maintenance budgets and schedules.
• Excellent coordination skills with cross‑functional departments.
• Commitment to safety, environmental standards and continuous improvement.
