L3 SOC Cybersecurity Analyst – 24/7 Security Operations

About the role

The L3 Production Cybersecurity Analyst will join the 24/7 Security Operations Center (SOC) to protect critical assets of a banking group. You will monitor, detect, prevent, and respond to cyber threats, supporting the broader cybersecurity program across regions and with external partners.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze and monitor security log trends from diverse security devices.
• Develop and validate use cases for detection.
• Provide incident response support and escalation when needed.
• Conduct threat and vulnerability analysis, including undisclosed software/hardware flaws.
• Design and execute a threat‑hunting program.
• Investigate, document, and report security issues and emerging trends.
• Perform forensic analysis on compromised systems and recommend remediation.
• Research and answer security‑related queries independently.

Required profile

• Proven experience working in a SOC environment.
• Strong analytical skills for real‑time monitoring and incident investigation.
• Ability to work independently and handle 24/7 operational demands.
• Excellent communication for reporting findings to business lines and regulators.
