Junior Software Engineer (Python) – Hybrid – Montreal

About the role

Join a front‑office engineering team that builds the real‑time systems used by traders and quants. You will develop Python‑based tools that drive risk assessment, pricing and decision‑making, working closely with the people who rely on your software every second.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement fast, scalable Python applications that power real‑time risk and pricing.
• Collaborate with quants and traders to translate new risk ideas into production‑ready tools.
• Contribute to the architecture of a unified, next‑generation front‑office risk platform.

Required profile

• Strong computer‑science fundamentals and solid Python programming skills (2‑5 years of relevant experience; degree preferred but not required).
• Curious and analytical mindset with a keen interest in financial markets and trading.
• Enjoy solving challenging technical and mathematical problems.
• Team‑player who likes building things and collaborating with others.
