Invigilator

About the role

The University is seeking a graduate student to serve as an invigilator for upcoming Biology mid‑term examinations. The role involves preparing exam rooms, supervising the exam process, and ensuring compliance with university policies.

Key responsibilities

• Set up examination rooms according to specific requirements, including arranging seating and equipment.
• Administer exam delivery, distribute exam materials, and monitor students throughout the exam period.
• Ensure students comply with exam regulations and address any questions or concerns, notifying the professor as needed.
• Collect all exam materials at the end of the exam, verify that nothing is left behind, and report back to the professor.
• Maintain confidentiality and security of exam materials and follow McGill University policies and procedures.

Required profile

• Currently enrolled as a graduate student at McGill University.
• Ability to work independently with reliability, punctuality, and dependability.
• Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and security of examination materials.
• Understanding of and adherence to McGill University policies and exam regulations.
• Authorization to work in Canada and willingness to work on the McGill campus in Quebec.
