Information Technology Support Engineer

About the role

This mid‑level Support Engineer position is part of a global IT Service & Support team for a leading international professional services firm. Based in Montreal, the role provides on‑site and remote support for the local office (≈130 users) and the Toronto office (≈25‑30 users) in a hybrid work model (three days on site).

Key responsibilities

• Deliver high‑quality desk‑side and remote IT support to users at all levels.
• Support laptops, virtual machines, peripherals, audio/video and conferencing systems.
• Administer Microsoft technologies: Windows 10/11, Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive), Active Directory.
• Image, configure and deploy laptops and virtual machines.
• Utilise and evaluate remote support tools and manage tickets according to SLAs.
• Assist with onboarding, training and day‑to‑day technology needs.
• Participate in IT projects, continuous‑improvement initiatives and an after‑hours on‑call rotation.

Required profile

• Fully bilingual in French and English.
• Strong communication, organisational and time‑management abilities.
• Comfortable supporting senior professionals in deadline‑driven environments.
• Ability to work calmly under pressure and manage competing demands.
• Eligibility to work in Canada without sponsorship.
