Home Service Technician

About the role

Cachet is seeking a Home Service Technician on a 6‑month fixed‑term contract, with the possibility of becoming permanent. Reporting to the Home Service Manager, you will be responsible for completing warranty deficiency repairs for new homes across several Ontario communities.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Home Service Team to complete deficiency repairs promptly and in line with TARION Warranty Corporation standards.
• Review, assess, and organize assigned warranty work orders.
• Perform repairs to the highest quality standards, maintaining cleanliness and a premium appearance on site.
• Interact courteously with homeowners, explaining repair methods, assessments, and timelines.
• Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of TARION Construction Performance Guidelines to determine warranted items.
• Communicate deficiency lists with homeowners and ensure timely completion of work orders.
