About the role

LoiZéro is seeking a Machine Learning Manager to lead a growing team focused on cutting‑edge AI safety research. You will bridge advanced scientific theory with large‑scale technical execution, driving innovative ML models based on the "Scientist AI" approach.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and inspire a high‑performing team of ML researchers and engineers.
• Collaborate with senior leaders and talent acquisition to scale the organization.
• Oversee technical recruitment, active sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding.
• Coach team members to develop new skills while ensuring a positive employee experience.
• Guide cross‑functional project teams through complex scientific and engineering challenges.
• Manage and optimize research workflows to deliver rigorous, reproducible results at the frontier‑model scale.
• Promote the research program internally and externally to maintain momentum on major breakthroughs.

Required profile

• PhD in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in machine learning / deep learning.
• 5+ years of experience managing people and leading projects.
• Proven track record directing ML research projects, especially with foundation models.
• Strong alignment with LoiZéro’s current research agenda.
