Full-Time Pharmacist – Community Pharmacy

About the role

Join Sobeys Inc.'s national pharmacy team as a full‑time pharmacist delivering patient‑centered care across Canada. You will work in a community setting, providing medication counseling, health assessments, and clinical services to support the well‑being of individuals and families.

Key responsibilities

• Demonstrate warmth, empathy, and compassion while prioritising patients' best interests.
• Provide patient counseling and education on new therapies, adapting communication for literacy, hearing loss, or privacy concerns.
• Initiate care plans, conduct follow‑ups, and ensure accurate documentation.
• Participate in professional programs and collaborate with colleagues to deliver consistent health and wellness services.
• Engage with Fusion systems to create a seamless pharmacy experience across locations.
• Maintain prescription safety by overseeing technical functions and delegating tasks to Pharmacy Registered Technicians and Assistants.
• Stay current with pharmacy practice, regulatory requirements, and industry trends through required training.
• Adhere to all corporate policies, OHS, loss‑prevention, and continuous quality improvement processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from a recognised institution.
• Licensed pharmacist in good standing in the relevant province.
• Current Injection and First Aid certifications.
• Experience with Kroll pharmacy software is preferred.
