Full Stack Software Engineer – AI and Internal Tools

About the role

Push is seeking an experienced Full Stack Software Engineer to design, build, and test internal tools and AI integrations that power our HR, payroll, and scheduling platform. You will work closely with cross‑functional teams to remove workflow bottlenecks and deliver scalable, high‑quality software that directly impacts our customers.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain internal tools and automation systems.
• Build and scale back‑end services and APIs.
• Collaborate with internal teams to identify and implement innovative workflow solutions.
• Participate in code reviews and ensure code quality.
• Write, test, and maintain clean, maintainable code.

Required profile

• 5+ years of professional experience building web applications.
• Strong understanding of computer science fundamentals such as data structures, design patterns, and algorithms.
• Experience writing testable, maintainable code.
• Track record of building highly scalable products.
• Curiosity and willingness to stay current with emerging technologies.

Required skills

• Proficiency in at least one language: PHP, Python, Ruby, Go, C/C++, or C#.
• JavaScript expertise (ES6) and experience with modern tooling (Webpack).
• Front‑end frameworks: Angular, React JS, React Native.
• Relational databases and SQL.
• Familiarity with Laravel or other MVC frameworks (bonus).
• Experience integrating AI APIs (e.g., AWS Bedrock) and implementing safeguards such as AWS Guardrails (bonus).
