Front of House Host/Hostess (Bilingual)

About the role

We are looking for a friendly Front of House Host/Hostess to be the first point of contact for guests at Playground’s new dining area. The role involves greeting patrons, managing reservations and ensuring smooth seating flow to create a memorable dining experience.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and assist guests in a warm, professional manner.
• Provide accurate wait times, monitor waiting lists and manage reservations.
• Lead guests with reservations to their assigned dining or bar areas.
• Maintain knowledge of table numbers and their locations.
• Keep the reception area clean and organized.
• Assist with clearing and setting tables when time permits.
• Collaborate with bus staff to ensure quick, efficient service.

Required profile

• Bilingual in French and English, 18 years or older.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational abilities.
• Ability to multitask and stay calm in a fast‑paced environment.
• Strong time‑management skills.
• Positive, collaborative team attitude.
• Comfortable standing for the duration of shifts.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends, evenings and holidays.
