About the role
We are seeking a Financial Analyst to join our investment team in Toronto. The role involves assessing financial risk and supporting portfolio management activities.
Key responsibilities
- Evaluate financial risk and use portfolio management software.
- Examine and analyze company profiles, stock and bond prices, yields and future trends.
- Prepare company, industry and economic outlooks, analytical reports and briefing notes.
- Plan short‑ and long‑term cash flows, assess financial performance and conduct variance analysis.
Required profile
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent written communication and interpersonal skills.
- Reliable team player capable of multitasking.
Required skills
- Microsoft Excel and Visual Basic for Applications (VBA).
- Microsoft Office suite including PowerPoint.
- Proficiency with electronic mail.
