Financial Analyst – Compliance and Accounting

About the role

Join Simons' dynamic finance team as a Financial Analyst focused on compliance and accounting. You will support the preparation and analysis of financial statements, ensure tax and regulatory compliance, and help improve financial processes.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze monthly and annual financial statements.
• Participate in month‑end and year‑end closing activities, reviewing balance sheet and income statement items.
• Maintain the accuracy and integrity of financial data.
• Identify opportunities to enhance profitability and streamline financial processes.
• Maintain and strengthen internal controls.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax laws and related legislation.
• Assist with internal and external audits.
• Monitor financial and economic trends to recommend improvements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or Accounting.
• CPA designation.
• 2–3 years of experience in a similar financial analyst or accounting role.
• Strong organizational abilities and problem‑solving skills.
• High adaptability and a collaborative team spirit.

Required skills

• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft tools.
• Experience with financial ERP systems.
