About the role
The College of Theology at the Adventist University of the Philippines seeks a passionate female faculty member to teach and mentor students in theological and spiritual development. This full‑time temporary position runs until July 2025 and may be renewed based on performance.
Key responsibilities
- Teach undergraduate and/or graduate courses in Theology, Biblical Studies, or related fields.
- Mentor students and provide spiritual guidance to support holistic growth.
- Conduct research and publish scholarly work in theological journals.
- Support campus ministries, evangelistic, and outreach programs.
- Serve on academic committees and contribute to the College’s mission and goals.
Required profile
- Strong foundation in Biblical studies, Adventist theology, and church history.
- Demonstrated spiritual leadership aligned with Seventh‑day Adventist values.
- Excellent verbal and written communication for teaching, preaching, and counseling.
- Ability to conduct theological research and publish in reputable journals.
- High professionalism, integrity, and collaborative mindset.
- Master’s degree in Theology or Ministry (Ph.D. or D.Min. preferred); completed ministerial internship or field pastoral experience.
- Previous collegiate teaching experience is an advantage.
