Family Physician – Part‑time (Etobicoke)

About the role

Medcan Health Management is seeking a part‑time Family Physician to join its expanding team of over 100 physicians in Etobicoke. The role supports the Year‑Round Care urgent/walk‑in clinic, primarily on Saturdays with additional weekday shifts as needed.

Key responsibilities

• Provide screening, primary care and preventive health services to Medcan patients.
• Conduct history taking, physical examinations, diagnose conditions, prescribe medications and arrange follow‑up care.
• Educate patients on primary and secondary prevention, lifestyle choices and chronic disease management.
• Collaborate with internal and external specialists and contribute to Medcan initiatives such as CME, research and product development.

Required profile

• Current registration in good standing with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario.
• Active OHIP billing number.
• CCFP, CCFP (EM) or FRCPC designation; recent residency graduates are welcome.
• Commitment to work at least one day per week at Medcan.
• Experience in preventive care and wellness is an asset.
