Faculty Position in Biochemistry, Molecular Genetics & Cell Biology

About the role

We are seeking a faculty member to deliver undergraduate courses that explore the biochemical, molecular, genetic and cellular foundations of life. The successful candidate will guide students through the structure and function of biological macromolecules, gene expression mechanisms, enzymology and cell signalling pathways.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver lectures on biochemistry, molecular genetics and cell biology for undergraduate programmes.
• Develop course materials, including presentations, reading lists and assessment tools.
• Mentor and advise students on academic progress and research interests.

Required profile

• MSc and/or PhD in Biology or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
• Strong background in biochemistry, molecular genetics and cell biology.
• Experience teaching undergraduate lectures is an asset.

Required skills

• Knowledge of biochemical processes and macromolecular structure.
• Understanding of gene expression pathways and enzymatic mechanisms.
• Familiarity with cell signalling concepts.
