Environmental Professional – Spill Response

About the role

H3M Environmental Ltd. is seeking an Environmental Professional to join its Spill Response Team in Grande Prairie, AB. The role offers hands‑on field experience supporting environmental assessments, reclamation and remediation projects across the oil‑and‑gas and infrastructure sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Assist project managers in planning and executing remediation, reclamation and spill response projects.
• Prepare high‑quality scientific and technical reports, site assessments and monitoring documentation.
• Coordinate logistics, data management and on‑site activities from project conception to completion.
• Lead safety initiatives and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and project scopes.
• Contribute to process improvements and adhere to business best practices.
• Represent H3M’s brand by building effective stakeholder relationships.

Required profile

• University degree or diploma in environmental science, biology, agrology or a related field.
• 5–7 years of experience in environmental spill response or fieldwork (internships or volunteer work accepted).
• ISC‑100 awareness training is an asset.
• Willingness to travel and work in remote, challenging field conditions.
