Emergency Medicine Physician – Full Time

About the role

Join a dedicated team at Langley Memorial Hospital’s brand‑new Emergency Department. As an Emergency Medicine Physician you will help shape emergency care for a fast‑growing community, working alongside a full‑service 200‑bed hospital and a collaborative multidisciplinary staff.

Key responsibilities

• Provide high‑quality emergency medical assessment and treatment to a diverse patient population.
• Collaborate closely with nursing, allied health, and specialist teams to ensure timely, appropriate care.
• Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of emergency department protocols and services.
• Participate in on‑call rotations and support the department’s 24/7 operations.

Required profile

• Board certification or eligibility: FRCPC and/or CCFP in Emergency Medicine.
• Full CPSBC license, provisional or eligible for full licensure.
• Eligibility for or possession of USA certification (if applicable).
• Commitment to full‑time employment in an onsite hospital setting.

Required skills

• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
• Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS) certification.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification.
• Proficiency in emergency medicine clinical procedures and decision‑making.
