District Manager – Property Management

About the role

The District Manager leads the planning, delivery and administration of property management functions for a designated district within Manitoba Housing’s Social Housing portfolio. Reporting to the Senior Regional Director, the role ensures safe, affordable housing services are provided to diverse tenants across the district.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee all property management activities, including maintenance coordination and minor capital projects.
• Supervise, direct and support staff to achieve district performance goals.
• Collaborate with Support Services Program Managers to align tenant support services.
• Ensure compliance with government and departmental policies and regulations.
• Manage relationships with external partners and contractors involved in housing services.

Required profile

• Proven ability to supervise and lead a property management team.
• Experience coordinating maintenance and capital project activities.
• Strong understanding of government and departmental policy compliance.
• Effective collaboration skills with program managers and external stakeholders.
