Courier – Package Pickup & Delivery (FedEx)

About the role

This full‑time position involves providing courteous and efficient pick‑up and delivery of packages on an assigned route for Federal Express Canada. You will ensure shipments meet FedEx service standards and deliver excellent customer service throughout the process.

Key responsibilities

• Pick up and deliver packages on a designated route, adhering to schedule and safety protocols.
• Verify shipments for conformance to Federal Express Canada service features.
• Provide related customer‑service functions, including answering inquiries and handling issues.
• Complete mandatory driver assessment training and any required recurring certifications.
• Operate in a Windows PC environment for tracking and reporting.
• Work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays, based on business needs.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Class 5 driver’s licence (probationary licences not accepted) with a clean driving record (≤2 violations/accidents in the past 24 months).
• Ability to lift 70 lb and maneuver packages up to 150 lb using appropriate equipment.
• One year of customer‑oriented business experience (preferred).
• Availability Monday‑Saturday, 7 am‑7 pm (7‑8 hours per day).
• Bilingual (French and English) for candidates residing in Quebec.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, time‑management and organizational skills.
• Ability to multitask, handle stress and work in a high‑pressure environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Windows‑based computer systems for package tracking.
