Communications Adviser – Green Economy

About the role

We are seeking a bilingual Communications Adviser to lead the development and execution of communication strategies that support environmental preservation and help Canada achieve its net‑zero target. The role combines strategic planning with hands‑on content creation for a range of non‑profit and association partners.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive communication strategies and programs.
• Produce written materials such as reports, briefs, website content, speeches, presentations, and press releases.
• Prepare research papers, educational texts, brochures, newsletters, and other promotional assets.
• Coordinate special publicity events and promotional campaigns.
• Gather, research, and prepare communication material for various audiences.
• Initiate and maintain relationships with media outlets; write and edit press releases and newsletters.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in a relevant field.
• Bilingual (English/French) with at least five years of experience in communications, public relations, or strategic planning.
• Experience in the green economy or environmental sector, preferably with non‑profit or association clients.
• Proven ability to manage projects and develop digital media strategies.
