About the role

Giant Tiger is seeking friendly, motivated individuals to join its store team as full‑time cashiers. You will be the front‑line representative, ensuring customers enjoy a smooth checkout experience while supporting store operations.

Key responsibilities

• Provide high‑level customer service at checkout lanes.
• Accurately record transactions using electronic cash registers, mainline and self‑checkout systems.
• Replenish merchandise around the checkout area.
• Maintain a clean, organized work environment and follow health‑and‑safety policies.
• Apply loss‑prevention best practices.
• Comply with policies for selling tobacco and lottery products.

Required profile

• Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Strong attention to detail.

• Capability to work both independently and as part of a team.
