About the role

Giant Tiger is seeking friendly, motivated individuals to join its store team as full‑time cashiers. You will be the face of the store, ensuring every customer enjoys a smooth checkout experience while supporting store operations.

Key responsibilities

• Provide a high level of customer service at all checkout stations.
• Accurately record transactions using electronic cash registers, mainline and self‑checkout systems.
• Replenish merchandise around the checkout area to keep it stocked.
• Follow health and safety policies and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
• Apply loss‑prevention best practices to protect store assets.
• Ensure compliance with policies for selling tobacco and lottery products.
