Business Development Representative – Brand Partnerships

About the role

DogPack is a fast‑growing pet app that connects dog owners with brands and services. We are looking for a Business Development Representative to drive brand partnerships across North America, the EU and the UK. You will be the first point of contact for prospective merchants, introducing them to our marketplace and guiding them through the sales process.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and outreach to pet‑related brands, service providers and retailers via cold calls, emails and direct messages.
• Manage the full sales cycle from initial contact to signed agreement.
• Pitch DogPack as a new sales and marketing channel and negotiate terms.
• Follow up consistently to advance deals and support onboarding of new merchants.
• Collaborate with marketing and product teams to refine outreach materials.
• Maintain accurate records of leads, conversations and deals in a CRM.
• Represent DogPack at trade shows or industry events when required.

Required profile

• Previous B2B sales experience (SDR, AE, inside sales, merchant sales, etc.).
• Comfortable with cold outreach and handling rejection.
• Strong phone and email communication skills.
• Highly organized and able to juggle multiple conversations.
• Self‑motivated, scrappy and eager to grow with an early‑stage company.
• Passion for dogs and the pet industry.

Required skills

• Experience with CRM platforms such as HubSpot or Salesforce.
