About the role
The Bookkeeper will be responsible for calculating and preparing payroll cheques, maintaining accurate financial records, and using both manual and computerized bookkeeping systems. This role supports the finance team by ensuring accounts are balanced and reports are prepared on time.
Key responsibilities
- Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll.
- Maintain general ledgers, financial statements, and trial balances.
- Post journal entries and reconcile accounts.
- Prepare statistical, financial and accounting reports.
Required profile
- 2 to less than 3 years of accounting experience.
- Master's degree in Accounting or a related field.
- Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced environment with tight deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
