About the role
We are looking for an Automotive Technician specialized in automatic transmission systems to join our Edmonton team. The role involves inspecting, testing, and repairing transmission components to ensure vehicles operate smoothly.
Key responsibilities
- Inspect and test mechanical units to locate faults and malfunctions.
- Adjust, repair or replace parts and components of automotive systems.
- Fit and weld parts together and remove existing floor coverings and contaminants.
- Test systems for leaks using air or liquid pressure equipment.
- Maintain inspection records and complete inspection reports.
Required profile
- No formal degree, certificate or diploma required.
- 1 to less than 2 years of experience with automatic transmission systems.
Required skills
- Mechanical inspection of automotive components.
- Leak testing using air or liquid pressure equipment.
- Welding and fitting of parts.
- Repair and replacement of automotive system components.
